Ants are one of the most common pests found in Australia. As they are foraging insects and infestations are often treated internally with Ant Baits which use an attractant and a poisonous the treatment is transferred between the worker ants and taken back to the nest where eradication of the entire ant colony is achieved. Should the infestation be severe, it is important to minimise the colony size immediately with use of an internal insecticide
It is important to protect all access areas to prevent the colony from returning so localised barrier bands of insecticide will be used. In addition to this specific ant bait gels and granules will be used in high activity areas such as trails and around nests.
